Terra Donata - Franciacorta Blanc de Blancs Saten 2020

Terra Donata is a boutique winery located in the heart of Franciacorta, Lombardy, Italy. The estate was founded with a strong commitment to artisanal winemaking, sustainability, and a deep respect for nature and tradition. Every phase of production is handled manually, from vineyard work to bottling, and the wines are made exclusively with grapes grown on the estate. With very limited production and meticulous attention to detail, Terra Donata aims to express the authentic soul of Franciacorta’s terroir through long aging on lees, minimal intervention, and zero dosage whenever possible. 

Harvested in 2020 and disgorged in 2024, this elegant Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes and follows the Satèn style, characterized by its refined perlage and lower bottle pressure. After a gentle pressing and fermentation, the wine is aged on the lees to enhance its creaminess and complexity.
Tasting Profile: Delicate and silky, with aromas of white flowers, citrus peel, and toasted brioche. On the palate, it is fine and harmonious, with soft bubbles and a lingering mineral finish. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with delicate seafood and creamy dishes.
