Pietroso - Pietroso IGT Berni Domenico 2021

Pietroso is a small, family-run winery located in Montalcino, founded by Gianni Pignattai. Though the name Pietroso has older roots in local winemaking, the current winery was established in the 1970s, and today it is one of the most respected artisanal producers in the region. Situated just southwest of Montalcino, Pietroso cultivates Sangiovese on hillside vineyards at around 400 meters above sea level, combining traditional farming with meticulous cellar work. The wines are known for their purity, depth, and classic structure, reflecting both the terroir and the Pignattai family's deep dedication to quality. 

Pietroso IGT Toscana “Domenico Berni” 2021
A bold and modern expression made in honor of a family figure. This Tuscan IGT blends Sangiovese with a touch of international varieties (likely Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon). Rich, dark fruit, cocoa, and spice aromas lead to a full-bodied palate with smooth texture and concentration. A limited and distinctive bottling.
