Pietroso - Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020

Pietroso is a small, family-run winery located in Montalcino, founded by Gianni Pignattai. Though the name Pietroso has older roots in local winemaking, the current winery was established in the 1970s, and today it is one of the most respected artisanal producers in the region. Situated just southwest of Montalcino, Pietroso cultivates Sangiovese on hillside vineyards at around 400 meters above sea level, combining traditional farming with meticulous cellar work. The wines are known for their purity, depth, and classic structure, reflecting both the terroir and the Pignattai family's deep dedication to quality. 

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020
Elegant and structured, this Brunello shows aromas of sour cherry, dried rose, tobacco, and forest floor. The palate is refined and layered, with polished tannins and balanced acidity. Aged in large Slavonian oak casks, it captures the soul of traditional Montalcino.
