Pertois-Moriset is a family-owned grower Champagne house based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (Côte des Blancs Grand Cru), founded in 1951 through the marriage of Yves Pertois and Janine Moriset, both from historic winegrowing families.
Today the estate is managed by the third generation, Cécile Pertois and her husband Vincent, overseeing around 20 hectares of vineyards, mainly located in the Côte des Blancs, where Chardonnay dominates.
The house is known for:
- strong focus on Grand Cru terroirs
- low dosage / Extra Brut style
- blocked malolactic fermentation to preserve tension
- partial vinification in oak for complexity
The philosophy is clear: precision, minerality and terroir expression over winemaking signature.
A more structured and floral expression of Chardonnay from the Grand Cru village of Cramant. This vintage Champagne offers notes of citrus, white flowers and beeswax, with a slightly broader and more textured palate compared to Chouilly. The finish is long, saline and precise, reflecting the chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs.
