Perrier Jouët - Belle Epoque Rosé 1985

The Rosé Brut "Belle Epoque" is a Champagne that has become a true icon by virtue of a creamy yet profound style. Perrier Jouet, a name that needs no introduction given the importance it has in the vast world of bubbles lovers.

Maison with centuries-old tradition, founded as early as 1811 by Pierre Perrier and Adele Jouet, today has around 106 hectares of vineyards divided between Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. The unmistakable style of the maison combines refined floral inlays with a fleshy material, which therefore produces a wine that makes completeness its true strong point.

The Belle Epoque Rosé represents one of the pinnacles of its typology, a true excellence not to be missed in the cellar. Jouet Brut Rosè Belle Epoque is a rosé Champagne produced from a blend of the three main vines of the region: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. A maison that can count on grapes coming from the most prestigious municipalities for each vine, therefore the Chardonnay comes from the crus of Cramant, Avize and Le Mesnil, the Pinot Noir from Mailly, Ay, Verzy and Rilly, while the Pinot Meunier from Dizy. Blended rosé, which therefore involves combining it with a red wine, the Belle Epoque Rosè ages for 72 months on the yeasts, a period which gives it incredible complexity.

The "Belle Epoque" Rosé Champagne fills the glass with a delicate pink robe and a very fine perlage. A true champion, and you can already sense it from the first smell which paints a picture made of brushstrokes of currants, orange peel, biscuits and small pastries. Then another walk in the spice market, so as not to miss anything. Splendid sip, masterfully blends creamy tactility and invigorating freshness, so much so that the liquid appears weightless.
