Maison Lou Dumont - Domaine Koji et Jan Hwa was founded in 2000 by Koji Nakada, a Japanese sommelier turned winemaker, with a deep reverence for the wines and traditions of Burgundy. Together with his wife Jae Hwa, Koji created a domaine rooted in purity, humility, and respect for nature. The winery is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and produces wines from prestigious appellations across Burgundy, from Chablis to the Côte de Nuits.
Lou Dumont works with a combination of estate-owned vineyards and carefully selected grower plots. The winemaking philosophy embraces minimal intervention, native yeast fermentations, and aging in carefully selected oak barrels from small French coopers. All wines are vinified with precision and a clear goal: to express the terroir with elegance and authenticity. In honor of his Japanese heritage, Koji places a Buddhist kanji character for "dream" (夢) on every label.
Crémant de Bourgogne Rosé de Noirs
Crafted from Pinot Noir, this rosé Crémant shows a beautiful pale pink hue. On the nose, notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, and rose petal. The palate is bright and juicy with a fine mousse and a dry, clean finish.
