In the heart of legendary Burgundy, Maison Leroy stands as a symbol of excellence and unwavering dedication to the terroir. Founded in 1868 by François Leroy, it is thanks to the charismatic vision of Lalou Bize-Leroy, the founder's great-granddaughter, that the winery achieved its iconic status. A pioneer of biodynamics since the 1980s, Lalou shaped a production philosophy without compromise, featuring extremely low yields and meticulous attention to every detail, to create wines that are pure expressions of their origin. Every Leroy bottle is a treasure, sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike, a living testament to an unconditional passion for the land.
The Leroy SA Bourgogne Blanc is a sublime and accessible expression of this philosophy. Made from selected Chardonnay grapes within the vast and prestigious Burgundy region, this white wine embodies the purity and elegance distinctive of the Maison.
In the glass, it presents with a brilliant straw yellow color, often with greenish reflections. On the nose, the bouquet is refined and complex, offering delicate notes of white-fleshed fruit (green apple, pear), fresh citrus, and floral hints like hawthorn and acacia. As it opens up, nuances of chalky minerality, typical of Burgundy's limestone soils, emerge.
On the palate, it's an experience of balance and vivacity. The freshness is vibrant, supported by well-integrated acidity that cleanses the palate and invites another sip. The texture is elegant and rounded, perfectly balancing the minerality. The finish is persistent, leaving a memory of cleanliness, fruit, and a subtle salinity.
The Leroy SA Bourgogne Blanc is not just a wine, but an invitation to discover the authentic expression of the Burgundy terroir, signed by one of the greatest interpreters of wine in the world.
At the gates of Pauillac, Château Lynch-Bages now represents a symbolic history of the Medoc. Founded in 1691 by John Lynch, an Irish nobleman in exile, the winemaking enterprise was implemented by John's son, Thomas Lynch, who managed the company with wisdom and foresight from 1749 to 1824, producing excellent wines initially known as " Cru de Lynch”, later classified as Grand Cru on the occasion of the Paris Exhibition of 1855. However, it was on the eve of the Second World War, after various vicissitudes, that the estate was purchased by the Cazes family, who still own it today.
The historic equipment remains in the old cellar, a symbol of the prestige of a name that currently uses the best technologies. Each production process is aimed at preserving, enhancing and enhancing the peculiarities of the terroir.
The property's over one hundred hectares of vineyards, where Cabernet Sauvignon has found its kingdom but where Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are also grown, see vines that reach sixty years of age, and above all produce excellent grapes, from which they produce wines that to define as superb would be an understatement. Rich, dense and deep, those of Château Lynch-Bages are wines that develop a vast range of refined organoleptic characteristics, combining the aromaticity of the varietal with the nobility of aging in wood: high-class wines.
