Jean Marc Gilet - Vouvray Brut Nature Bio

Located near Tours, in the renowned Loire Valley of castles, Domaine de la Roulètiere is passionately run by the Gilet family, one of the first to believe in sparkling wines, having created their first cuvée as early as 1959. The vineyard stretches across stony slopes on a tuffeau subsoil, interspersed with small converging valleys. The estate also boasts an impressive two-level cellar, carved into 800 meters of underground galleries, where both still and sparkling Vouvray wines mature. Certified organic and managed with deep respect for nature, the Domaine perfectly represents the Vouvray terroir and its noble grape variety, Chenin Blanc, through its refined and expressive wines.

Bright straw yellow in color with a very fine and persistent perlage. Soft on the attack, with spicy flavors (grey pepper). The finish is fairly long and displays a supple structure; after aeration, citrus notes begin to emerge.
