I Vigneri is a red wine from Etna that expresses all the strength and finesse that this wonderful volcano can give to its wines. Produced from Nerello Mascalese and a small part of Nerello Cappuccio, these grapes come from vines grown under total agriculture biological. The cultivation of the vineyard is, in fact, done by hand using only natural products. I Vigneri is a red wine obtained from ultra-centenarian vines, trained as saplings and cultivated on sandy soil, it shines in the glass in a bright ruby red, giving a bouquet of red fruits, including cherries, blackberries and raspberries which combine with herbaceous and slightly spicy, everything maintains a long olfactory line that recalls the ashes of Etna themselves and which very often fall on the same Salvo Foti vineyards during the volcano's eruptions. The drink is dynamic and fine, it plays on flavor and the tannins are perfectly integrated. Elegant and simple wine.
They are wines that are born from the hands of native Etna winemakers, who believe in their territory and who respect it. We start from the chosen cultivation systems, those that preserve the Etna winemaking traditions, i.e. the Alberello vineyard system, while in the cellar still finds the Palmento, which in the past was used as tanks for pressing and fermentation and then forgotten into the oblivion of human memory with the advent of innovation.
