The Barolo San Lorenzo di Verduno 2017 by Fratelli Alessandria is a Cru made from Nebbiolo grapes from the parcel of the same name in Verduno with an average age of around 30 years. Maceration and fermentation are carried out in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 25 days. The refinement takes place for 3 years in 20-40 hl oak barrels followed by 2 months in steel and at least 6 months in the bottle before marketing. "Very complex and balanced Barolo which enhances the typical floral sensations of the Nebbiolo grape. In the mouth it is elegant and harmonious with tannins usually quite sweet and smooth".
