SKU:
Château Léoville Poyferré, located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, France, has very ancient origins: it was created way back in 1638, when Léoville was the largest property in the Medoc region. The estate, which passed through the hands of various families over the decades, began to seriously establish itself as a producer of quality wines in 1840, until it was classified as 2ème Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
Today Château Léoville Poyferré is owned by the family Cuvelier, and the estate - which has been able to renew itself by combining respect for the history and tradition of the territory with innovation and the latest technology - stands out as one of the most interesting companies in the Bordeaux terroir.
The vineyards extend over an area of approximately 80 hectares, within which we find the classic vines of this area, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot.
