Chateau Clinet Pomerol 1998

Château Clinet is one of the domaines with the oldest history, dating back to the 17th century, considered a rare pearl among the crus of Pomerol. Located in the heart of the plateau, Château Clinet, as tradition dictates, grows Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in full respect of nature and the microclimate, taking care of every single aspect of production with the utmost care, from manual harvesting to horse work up to cutting-edge winemaking tools. There are very few bottles produced here, rare pearls only for true enthusiasts.

Bright ruby ​​red in colour, on the nose it presents hints of ripe dark pulp fruit such as blackberries and plums, delicate floral hints of red rose and wisteria and slightly smoky scents reminiscent of toasted wood. Tasting that is soft, rounded, important, delicious in fruit but sharp in freshness, with tannins to emphasize a great evolution over time. The finish is very long and completes a simply perfect flavor development, with a mineral persistence that lasts for a very long time.
