Champagne Gimonnet-Gonet was established in 1986 by Anne Gonet and Philippe Gimonnet, both hailing from esteemed winemaking families in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, France. They began with 5 hectares of vineyards, primarily in Grand Cru villages such as Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly, Cramant, and Oger. Over the years, their holdings have expanded to approximately 13.5 hectares, including plots in the Vallée de la Marne where they cultivate Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. In 2012, their son Charles joined the family business, continuing the tradition of crafting high-quality Champagnes that reflect the unique terroir of their vineyards.
- 100% Chardonnay
- 5 years of bottle aging
- Dosage: 1.5 g
The grapes for this Champagne come from the three Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Oiry. The perlage is extremely fine and silky. On the nose, the maturity of the vintage is evident, revealing slightly more exotic notes, abundant fruit, and prominent mineral hints from the chalky soil.
