Champagne Gimonnet-Gonet was established in 1986 by Anne Gonet and Philippe Gimonnet, both hailing from esteemed winemaking families in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, France. They began with 5 hectares of vineyards, primarily in Grand Cru villages such as Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly, Cramant, and Oger. Over the years, their holdings have expanded to approximately 13.5 hectares, including plots in the Vallée de la Marne where they cultivate Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. In 2012, their son Charles joined the family business, continuing the tradition of crafting high-quality Champagnes that reflect the unique terroir of their vineyards.
- 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay
- Aged in stainless steel
- Aged on lees for at least 3 years
L'Accord is a cuvée composed of 50% Chardonnay, all sourced from Grand Cru sites, and 50% Pinot Noir. The Brut dosage is at the lower end of the scale, almost an Extra Brut. The bottles mature on the lees for at least 3 years before disgorgement. It features an extremely fine perlage, a wonderful saline minerality, radiant and pure on the palate, with great aging potential but already very fresh and enjoyable now.
