Castello Di ama - Chianti Classico 1999
Castello Di ama - Chianti Classico 1999
SKU:
If there is a company that, in the Chianti Classico, has believed in the typical nature of the vine and the territory, this is Castello di Ama. When in the 80s, in the Chianti Classico, international vines were experimented with (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot...) and the "Supertuscans" were born, in Ama they experimented with the different clones of Sangiovese, the best way of cultivation, the winemaking, and all this has today allowed Ama to be known as the company that has had the greatest impact on the valorisation of Sangiovese, in particular, and the Chianti Classico territory in general. Ama's Chianti Classico expresses elegance and concentration.
Intense ruby colour; on the nose it has a very elegant aroma with clearly visible ripe fruit, morello cherries and berries, aromatic and spicy notes; still young on the palate, but very fine and supported by velvety tannins, solid structure with full fruit.
