Cantine Provima - 90 Anniversario Verdicchio di Matelica DOCG Riserva 2019

Cantine Provima (Produttori Vitivinicoli di Matelica) is the oldest winery in Alta Vallesina, nestled in the heart of Italy's Marche region. Since 1932, they've passionately cultivated Verdicchio, a testament to the thousand-year-old winemaking tradition of this unique territory. The "90th Anniversary" release celebrates nearly a century of excellence and an unbreakable bond with terroir. 

This Verdicchio di Matelica DOCG Riserva 2019 is the ultimate expression of their dedication. Crafted purely from Verdicchio grapes, it's a wine of remarkable structure and complexity. Fermentation begins in their historic concrete tanks, followed by maturation in oak barrels and further refinement in the bottle, creating a truly unique sensory profile. 

It boasts a brilliant yellow hue with golden reflections. The nose is complex and refined, with notes of ripe fruit (peach, apple) and yellow flowers (broom, chamomile), enriched by seductive hints of spices and dried fruit from its oak aging. On the palate, it's broad, rich, and full-bodied, leading to a creamy, persistent finish, characterized by the typical minerality of Matelica.
