The Brezza family has been producing wine in Barolo since 1885, with a deep-rooted passion for the Nebbiolo grape and the Langhe terroir. The estate is located just a few steps from the center of the town of Barolo and is currently run by Enzo Brezza, the fourth generation. Certified organic since 2015, Brezza focuses on minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar, with an emphasis on expressing the purity and elegance of their crus. Fermentations are spontaneous, aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels, and sulfur use is kept to a minimum. The result is a range of wines that speak authentically of place, vintage, and tradition.
Barolo Castellero 2013
Aged Barolo from one of the Brezza family’s historic crus. Elegant and complex, with aromas of dried flowers, leather, and forest floor. On the palate, it shows developed tannins, savory depth, and a long finish. A refined, traditional Barolo with great aging potential.
