Ai Suma in Piedmontese dialect means "here we are" and is produced exclusively in exceptional years. A wine to drink immediately without hesitation but which deserves to rest peacefully in the cellar for a few years, with the certainty of finding an excellent wine, still harmonious and sensual.
At sight it has a very intense ruby red color with garnet reflections, good concentration and beautiful bright reflections. The rich and complex range of scents is typical of Barbera Astigiana, not intense but progressive, with a dominance of berries and background perceptions with notes of vanilla, liquorice and cocoa which close the certainly intriguing olfactory picture.
To the taste it immediately returns the sensations perceived by smell. The impact on the palate is full and enveloping, the soft tannin does not hide the good shoulder of this captivating wine, powerful, with great structure but at the same time elegant and harmonious. Excellent persistence.
