Benoît Lahaye is a family-run grower based in Bouzy Grand Cru (Montagne de Reims), with roots dating back to 1898. The estate spans around 5 hectares, planted predominantly with Pinot Noir across Bouzy, Ambonnay and Tauxières.
Since taking over in 1993, Benoît Lahaye has progressively converted the domaine to organic (since 2003) and biodynamic farming (since 2009), working soils with horse ploughing and natural preparations.
Vinifications are carried out mainly in oak barrels, with long ageing on lees and very low or zero dosage, aiming for pure, terroir-driven Champagnes with strong identity and mineral expression.
Produced using the traditional maceration (saignée) method, this rosé is crafted from Pinot Noir grapes with short skin contact to extract color and structure. The result is a deeply expressive Champagne, combining red berry intensity (cherry, cranberry) with floral notes and a subtle spicy edge. Rich yet precise, with fine acidity and a mineral finish.
